Dear Friends,

We are delighted to invite you to our upcoming event entitled “Pushing Boundaries – The Journey to Self through Dance”. Presented by the Maya Dance Theatre, discover how dance can improve our state of well-being, and how you can be part of a growing community that effects positive change through the arts.

Maya Dance Theatre is our Citizen Ambassador – a friend of the world who recognises Singapore sits within the global community and that there is a need for greater understanding between countries in order to build a better world.

In this sharing and experiential session, Maya Dance Theatre shows how creative movements can be used to improve functional abilities, especially for persons with disabilities and the elderly. Kavitha Krishnan, Artistic Director of Maya Dance Theatre, a contemporary dance company, shares insights on how using these creative movements helped the children from Down Syndrome Association Singapore, the elderly and also the children with disabilities from Rainbow Room, Thailand.

Come join us,

Time: 2.30pm – 5pm
Venue: library @ esplanade
