The return of Mr. India Manhunt International & Mrs. India Beauty Queen 2016 announced’

:  Bir Kaur Dhillon, the Director of Mr. India Manhunt International and Mrs. India Beauty Queen (MIBQ) powered by WOWW foundation and MIBQ Foundation announced the return of the pageants in yet another edition at a press conference held at Vivanta by Taj in Dwarka on 14th August.

Mr. India Manhunt International franchisee which was earlier with Maureen Wadia’s Gladrags in India; is a platform to promote the new faces for male modeling in the fashion industry while Mrs. India Beauty Queen (MIBQ) is a beauty pageant for married women that celebrates and admires the accomplishments and achievements of a wife, a mother, a complete woman with true beauty and intelligence.

The winners will represent India at the world finals of Mrs. India Beauty Queen and Mr. Manhunt International to be held in Shenzhen, China in November 2016, where men & women from across the globe will compete for the coveted title.

Bir Kaur Dhillon, answering a question about what aspirations do the finalists come with for beauty pageants said, “Mrs. India Beauty Queen is not just a hunt for beautiful women, but in its dichotomy is also coming off age of the urban, modern and the do it all women of India and we hope that the role that they play in each one’s life is appreciated more and brings in social change through their representation and the work they do after they wear the winning tiaras”.

 “The Mr. India Manhunt and Mrs. India Beauty Queen competition held online auditions to select the finalists. The finalists will meet for a four day National pageant; each to be held in August –September, 2016 at Vivanta by Taj, Dwarka where they will compete for the title. The beauty contest will also be produced in a reality show format which will be aired on NDTV GOODTIMES later in September”, said Bir.

Tarun Gill, the face of this year’s Mr. India Manhunt international mentioned that ‘the pageant has paved ways for now known people in the fashion, film and modeling industry with winners like Rajat Bedi (1994), Dino Moreo (1995), Zulfi Syed (1996-97), John Abraham (1999), Rajeev Singh (2001), Muzamil Ibrahim (2003) to name a few and we hope to carry it forward.
