Growth Hacking is an evolving marketing technique employed by most organizations today. The technique helps to build a large user base quickly at bootstrapping budgets. It involves using new technologies and low cost marketing alternatives to the expensive traditional marketing platforms. Growth hackers are specialists who develop a variety of digital marketing strategies to scale up operations at a very rapid rate and gain substantial leadership in the nascent online markets. Instead of burning cash on high-cost media such as newspapers and television, they employ a set of digital marketing tools, such as social media, apps and search engines, to reach out to users, engage them and encourage them to distribute the marketing message widely. Growth hacking is a fast-growing specialization and it is also being adopted by startup companies as well as conventional companies to market in the growing digital domain.
Keeping in view the significance of the subject, All India Management Association is organizing an Interactive Session on “Growth Hacking” with
Mr Apurva Chamaria, Vice President and Head of Corporate Marketing for HCL Technologies (HCL). The session will be held on Friday, 27th May 2016 at the AIMA from1700 hrs to 1815 hrs. Registration & Tea/coffee at 1630 hrs.

Turkey’s Erdogan approves new PM Yildirim’s govt
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Tuesday approved a new government formed by one of his most trusted allies. Erdogan tapped Binali Yildirim, 60, to form a new government on Sunday after the outgoing prime minister, Ahmet Davutoglu, stepped down amid differences with the president. They apparently included Davutoglu’s less-than-enthusiastic stance toward an overhaul of the constitution to give the largely ceremonial presidency executive powers, AP said. After his nomination, Yildirim vowed to follow Erdogan’s path and transition Turkey into a presidential system.

Swedish court upholds Assange arrest warrant
A Swedish court upheld on Wednesday the arrest warrant for WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, Reuters reports.“The district court finds that there is still probable cause for the suspicion against [Julian Assange] for rape, less serious incident, and that there is still a risk that he will depart or in some other way evade prosecution or penalty,”the court said. Assange, 44, is wanted by Swedish authorities for questioning over allegations that he committed rape in 2010. Assange, who denies the allegations, has avoided possible extradition to Sweden by taking refuge in Ecuador’s embassy in London.
